Understanding how to calculate the appropriate amount of food, subcutaneous fluids, and medications to administer to orphaned, ill, or injured wildlife is critical to ensuring a positive outcome. In this 2-hour workshop, participants will learn how to correctly calculate fluid volumes for rehydration, formula volumes for feeding young wildlife, and dosages for commonly used medications through discussion of calculation formulas and practice exercises.
