Bats admitted into care for rehabilitation often present with a variety of medical issues that are not readily apparent. While fractures can usually be easily spotted, other conditions such as bacterial infections, pneumonia, and skin conditions may not surface until hours, or even days or weeks, after admission. In this course, we will explore some of the more common conditions, including diagnostic procedures and general guidelines for treatment. Diagnosis and treatment of these conditions should be done in consultation with your attending veterinarian. Upon receipt of payment, the digital recording files and participant materials will be sent to you by email from bwmidcities.wetransfer.com. This email may go to your spam/junk folder. If you do not receive the download link within 24 hours please contact us at bwmidcities@batworld.org.
